Daphne Siy and Candis Yu
Two Saturdays ago, I played photographer and shot my high school friends /slash/ blogger duo, Daphney Siy and Candis Yu of Posh Possibilities. Yay for collaborating with people I’ve known for years and years. I’ve never really taken photos of anyone other than my mother before so I was super excited to see what it’s like to be behind the lens. I’m really pleased that these two girls were my first models. I have so much to learn about photography so I’m excited that I’ve taken my first step into delving into this!
These photos that I’m sharing are actually the second set we shot that day, so be on the lookout for when I post the first set. Also, don’t forget to check their blog out for your dose of fashion.
Hello! I’m starting a series of sort, featuring some people whom I can’t describe in more accurate terms than as to having a “friend crush*” on them, asking about their college experience. These are the people I look up to, and people I find genuine and inspiring.
Here is the first introduction. This is Louise Tam. She is a graduating senior from AdMU.
Louise (I call her Tami cause I’m spesh) was my classmate during my 7:30 AM, T-Th, Environmental Science class during my first semester ever in college. It was interesting to find out that we are actually related, albeit in a very distant way. Still, meeting her felt very special and almost “destined.” (chz, but you know some people whom you feel like you just *had* to meet?)
In this video, I asked her to share her best college advice, thoughts, learnings, and experiences. She brought up the honest reality of how it’s okay to not have everything all figured out once you’ve reached adulthood (or at least reaching the ages that don’t end in “-teen” anymore.)
Hey! Today, I share how I get my current every day makeup look inspired by (of course) k-drama makeup. I love how it’s simple, fresh, and glowy. Click the video to see how I’ve achieved the look, and scroll down to read more descriptions about each product that I’ve used.
Philip Island’s gorgeous sunset graced my eyes while I waited for the foot-long penguins to wade their way up to the beach front. The colors of the waters and sky made the wait worthwhile. When the sun went down, little penguins started to surface from the water in batches, and they made their way up to their homes. It’s prohibited to take photos of the penguins for the preservation of the park. Even so, this was an experience I would never forget.
*cue: “when the waves are flooding the shore and I can’t find my way home anymore…” imy, Miley
My trip to Australia last Summer ranks high on my “favorite places I’ve visited” list. Some of its highlights include seeing breathtaking sceneries, petting fluffy animals, and meeting my little cousins. For the next couple of posts, I will be sharing some photos I was able to take during my stay there. I hope you will enjoy them!
Introductions were never my strong suit, so let’s keep this simple.
