My trip to Australia last Summer ranks high on my “favorite places I’ve visited” list. Some of its highlights include seeing breathtaking sceneries, petting fluffy animals, and meeting my little cousins. For the next couple of posts, I will be sharing some photos I was able to take during my stay there. I hope you will enjoy them!
For one of the days, my family and I went on a day tour. I’m not sure of the exact tour but here is a similar one. This post will include photos from the Koala Conservation Center and the Churchill Island Farm.
Back in high school, my best friend and I had dreams of owning a farm one day. Vast green plains, cows and horses roaming around, and owning a big red barn were my envisioned future. Granted, my vision was a romanticized idea of what it’s like to actually own a farm, but still, there’s something charming about living in the countryside, away from the city. The air is purer, the sun shines brighter, and time seems to tick slowly. Visiting the Churchill Island Farm reminded me of my little daydream years ago.
Here is a fluffy koala munching on eucalyptus leaves. Fact: Koalas aren’t bears, they’re marsupials.
This is a photo of me and my awkward hand. I was holding some kangaroo / wallaby food! Please excuse that I forgot this was taken (hehe) but we were able to feed some kangaroos and wallabies!
